I started my career in marketing right out of college, working in mortgage marketing, but quickly realized that wasn’t where I wanted to be. I eventually found my way into the healthcare supply chain world at Novation, where I started as a product marketing manager and learned the business from the ground up.


While finishing my studies at SMU, I met a mentor who served on the board of the Children’s Eye Foundation, an organization dedicated to saving children’s sight. That connection changed my path. I wrote a grant proposal that was funded by Alcon for one million dollars, and when it came time to find someone to lead the program, I stepped in. I left Novation to run the Children’s Eye Foundation and spent two years managing the See by 3 program, which helped ensure children received vision screenings before the age of three. It was incredibly rewarding work, and we reached tens of thousands of children.


When that program ended, I returned to Novation, which later became VHA and then Vizient. Over the years, my focus shifted toward data, technology, and analytics. In 2015, I completed a degree in data science, which helped me move from traditional product marketing to a data-driven insights role.


One of my proudest accomplishments has been building Vizient’s marketing analytics practice from the ground up. We connected data from multiple systems, built a data lake, and created reporting models that gave us real visibility into client engagement. I also established Vizient’s first marketing technology and operations functions to bring structure, focus, and efficiency to how our teams work.


More recently, I’ve led our marketing organization’s efforts in artificial intelligence. As one of Vizient’s AI Super Champions, I’ve trained more than 100 marketers on how to use tools like Writer, ChatGPT, and Databricks Genie to drive smarter, faster, and more creative work.


Throughout my career, I’ve focused on bridging marketing, data, and technology to create systems that work smarter, connect teams, and deliver measurable results.
